We are supported by a cutting-edge NICU. Our NICU setting features less light and noise, allows for longer periods of slumber, encourages optimal positioning, and offers therapeutic touch and comfort. Babies under 800 grams do well in our recently upgraded NICU.

All newborns are monitored for the first month of their lives before receiving further care from the paediatrics department. All high-risk preterm and term infants who are discharged from the NICU have a thorough neurodevelopmental checkup that lasts until they are 6 years old. This checkup includes developmental, nutritional, speech and language, and ophthalmological examinations.
