Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute launched its department of Dermatology and STD in 2005. The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced in treating dermatological conditions such as acne, scars and pigmentations, pigmentary disorders, particularly vitiligo, hair and nail problems, skin infections, autoimmune connective tissue conditions, Vesiculobullous conditions, eczemas, and psoriasis, as well as allergic conditions such as urticaria and contact dermatitis. with a focus on notifiable illnesses like leprosy, Sexually transmitted infections and HIV.

Inpatient Care
When required, inpatient care is given, particularly to patients with autoimmune illnesses, vesiculobullous disorders, and severe infections. Additionally, we offer dermatological consultations by referral.
